A rare photograph of Kishori Mohan Bandyopadhyay's daughter
Here is a rare photograph of Kishorimohan Bandyopadhyay's eldest daughter Amita who was married to Ranjit Roychoudhury, third son of Lakshminarayan Roychoudhury who was a friend of Kishorimohan Bandyopadhyay . Lakshminarayan was the photographer who helped in making coloured slides for Kishorimohan to enable the later to use them in his magic lantern during his anti-malaria drive in Bengal villages.

Uli Beisel & Christophe Boete on Kishori Mohan Bandyopadhyay
In their research paper titled "The Flying Public Health Tool : Genetically Modified Mosquitoes and Malaria Control" published in 'Science as Culture' Volume 22 No 1. 2013, ( pages 38 - 60 ) from Lancaster, UK, Dr Uli Beisel and Dr Christophe Boete have elaborated upon the reasons as to why Kishori Mohan Bandyopadhyay was not awarded the Nobel Prize along with Ronald Ross. There are attempts by anti-India vested interests to suppress the observations made by Dr Beisel and Dr Boete. It is obvious that Imperialism is still having its sway.
